Kathy Lemman Bio

I have lived in the Houston and surrounding suburbs my entire life outside of my college years in San Marcos at Texas State University.  I grew up the middle of five children in a loud yet very loving family with two brothers and two sisters that remain my best friends.

I am a banker.  I have always been a banker, starting in High School, continuing through college and returning to Houston, I was recruited into banking.  I am currently a Commercial Lender/Relationship Manager with CommunityBank of Texas (formerly Crosby State Bank) in the greater Atascocita/Humble area where I’ve been for 12 years.  Prior to this position, I spent 20 years with Bank of America and its predecessors back to Nassau Bay National Bank where I began my career.  Aside from Investment Banking, there’s little I haven’t done in Banking.

I married my husband, Douglas, 34 years ago this June and we have one lovely daughter affectionately known as “our little miracle”.  She is grown now and working on making her own mark on the world.  Aside from the pure joy of motherhood, my personal joy comes from helping business owner’s and individuals with their financial needs and services.  Outside of work my pleasure comes from involvement in my church and getting creative in my kitchen.  My family and friends take great advantage of the latter of the two on a regular basis.

I joined Rotary in 2001 because I admired the principles that Rotary stands for, the service they perform, and the sense of family they become as an organization in performing those services.  I thoroughly enjoy all aspects of Rotary.  As a member of the Rotary Club of Baytown I served two terms as Treasurer and was very involved in our annual fundraiser, at the time, The Glow Ball Golf Tournament.  I’m excited to return to Rotary and look forward to the opportunity to contribute my time and talent to the organization and the community we endeavor to serve.
