Kalulu Julius Siblings Update
Our club is helpling with the education of the Kalulu Julius Siblings. Bob Garlington was assisiting wtih one of the siblings and let us know of the opportunity to assist the other siblings. There are a total of nine. The board made a decison to invest in the future of these youngsters in the amount of $3500.00. A small investment with a large return. A letter follows to the Rotary Club of Jinja from Pastor Henry At the school that the siblings are attending. We are truly helping some young individuals acquire knowledge that may possibly change their lives. A very good example of what Rotary is all about. There will be several parts to this story. The first part will include several communications. Another part of the story will be thank you notes from the siblings and then some pictures. Hopefully I can put all of the information together so that we call appreciate what is taking place in the lives of these deserving young siblings.
First is the letter from Pastor Henry to the local Rotary Club.
THE ROTARY CLUB OF JINJA
Dear Mr. Okello William,
My you receive our warm greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. And My He reward you according to this great riches, for all the efforts that you have put in the lives of the Kalulu Julius Siblings.
May the same be granted to our brother Rtn.
According to their report cards (to be sent later) they have average performance and there is still room for them to improve.
Eight of them have been promoted to new classrooms, one has been advised to repeat.
Now below is the accountability of the 2.600.000= received for third term 2011.
The receipts and vouchers work (to be brought) total up 2.780.100=
The 2.600.000 - 2.783.600 = -183.600.
Thus the 183.600= was local contributions from their mothers, since there was great inflation country wide.
School fees have been raised a bit for next year, thus it will need approximately 2.9 million per term. Let us pray that God continues to provide for the same.
Talimusinwa Winnie has not yet sent her report card, when it will be sent, then I will bring the receipts, vouchers and those report cards together.
Merry X-mass and Happy New Year
Yours in the Lords’ Service
Ps. Kasawuli Henry
