Summer Creek Rotary, (the satellite club of Lake Houston Rotary), in partnership with United Community Credit Union invites you and your family to Rotary's 3K Walk/Run, on Saturday, September 6th, at Redemption Square, 707 Redemption Square Road, in Houston (near Beltway 8 and West Lake Houston Parkway.) It’s a fun, family-friendly way to get outdoors, connect with your community, and make an impact locally and globally.
Polio is a highly infectious disease that most commonly affects children under the age of 5. The virus is spread person to person, typically through contaminated water. It can attack the nervous system, and in some instances, lead to paralysis.
Although there is no cure, there is a safe and effective vaccine – one which is used to immunize over 2.5 BILLION children worldwide. Let’s continue to eradicate Polio and stomp it out with our steps.
