Lake Houston Rotarians and their guests gathered at the cozy Walden on Lake Houston Golf & Country Club in Atascocita for dinner on Wednesday evening, June 18th, to mark the conclusion of Dr. Roger Brown’s term as club president for 2024-2025 term and the installation of Scott Hively as the club’s new president for 2025-2026.
The event also marked the conclusion of Sheena Girner’s term as 2024-2025 president of Lake Houston Rotary’s Summer Creek Satellite Club as well as its officers and directors and installation of its new president, Almeria Lacy, and its new officers and directors for 2025-2026.
Thanks were given to all the outgoing officers, board of directors, committee members and volunteers for work done during the past year. Stirring, heartfelt speeches were given regarding this past year’s successes and hopes made for the year to come.
This year’s dress theme was the “Great Gatsby Centennial Soiree and Installation Dinner”. Special thanks to Valerie Copley and the social committee for organizing a memorable event.
