Rotarians gather to build beds for kids without beds to sleep in

Lake Houston Rotarians and family volunteers gathered at the Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP) facility in north Houston on Saturday, Sept. 27th to build "cargo style" bunk beds for Lake Houston area children without beds of their own to sleep on. The children receive a bed plus age appropriate bedding, including sheets, blankets and pillows too.

Rotary Club of Lake Houston Area 2024-2025 President Dr. Roger Brown (left) congratulates incoming 2025-2026 club president Scott Hively after dinner with club members and their guests at the Walden on Lake Houston Golf and Country Club in Atascocita on Wednesday, June 18th. Awards and certificates of appreciation were also provided to club members for outstanding service to the club and the Lake Houston community during the past year.

Congratulations to Miguel Acevedo! Rotary Corvette Raffle Winner!

Lake Houston Rotarians and members of the public gathered at Robbins Chevrolet at noon on Saturday, June 14, 2025 to witness the LIVE drawing of the winners of the Chevrolet Corvette Grand Prize and ten runner-up winners of a $250 VISA gift cards. Miguel Acevedo was the Grand Prize Winner of the Corvette! Runner-up Winners are being notified over the next few days to come and claim their prizes. Some VISA gift card winners were present at the drawing and have already claimed their cards. Congratulations to all our winners and thank you to everyone purchasing tickets for supporting local charities.
